See John reading the map? Let's do the red trail-its only a 1.3 mile loop he says. Oh, the red trail isnt right here, (me reading map) ok, blue is only 1.2....and then we get to the top and realized it wasn't a loop! White trail, brown trail and back down blue... Before kids we would chose the longest loop, with the most elevation, including as many trails as possible and venturing off the trail whenever we felt like it. You don't move as fast with a 35 lb toddler on your back or a 9mo overdue for a nap!
